About CalcAussie
CalcAussie is an independent collection of calculators and smart tools built specifically for Australians. Whether you're estimating take-home pay, comparing a mortgage, working out GST on an invoice or checking an energy bill, the goal is to make useful Australian calculations easy to understand and quick to check.
Why we built it
Many online calculators are designed around overseas terminology and rules. CalcAussie focuses on Australian dollars, Australian financial years and local rules where they are relevant, without requiring an account or putting the calculator behind a paywall.
How we handle accuracy
Time-sensitive financial calculators are reviewed against current Australian Government sources, and important assumptions and limitations are shown on the relevant pages. Read our methodology and data sources for how formulas and rates are handled, and our editorial and corrections policy for how updates and reported errors are treated.
Who is responsible for the content
CalcAussie maintains the calculator explanations, Australian guides, source links and correction process. CalcAussie is not a registered tax agent, financial adviser, lawyer or health professional. Instead, each published tool shows its method and limitations and links readers to primary sources where a current rule matters.
Ongoing curation
The public directory contains 57 calculators selected for the reviewed collection. It is supported by a growing Australian knowledge centre, category-level decision guidance and a dated public review log. The latest page-content review was completed on 30 September 2026, followed by a public-catalogue audit on 3 November 2026. Unreviewed calculator source code may be retained for future development, but those tools are not publicly available until their individual release checks pass.
Privacy
The figures you type into CalcAussie calculators are processed in your browser rather than submitted to us for calculation. See the Privacy Policy for information about analytics, advertising and third-party services used by the site.
