Accessibility statement
CalcAussie is built to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboards, magnification or reduced motion.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across the site, including every calculator page.
What we do
- Calculator inputs are designed with visible labels rather than relying on placeholder text alone.
- Results are presented as labelled values and update in place when calculator inputs change.
- Navigation and calculator controls are designed for keyboard use with visible focus indicators.
- Colour and contrast are reviewed as part of interface changes.
- Responsive layouts are tested on narrow screens, and tables can scroll when their contents need more width.
- Headings, landmarks and breadcrumbs follow a logical order for screen reader navigation.
- Motion is decorative only and respects your reduced-motion system setting.
- Important results use text labels rather than relying on colour alone.
Known limitations
Some detailed tables are easier to read on a wider screen, and third-party content such as the external feedback form is controlled by its provider. Accessibility testing is an ongoing process rather than a claim that every combination of browser and assistive technology has been certified. If you hit a barrier we have not listed, we want to hear about it.

Contact us through the contact page and tell us the page, the device or assistive technology you were using, and what happened. We treat accessibility problems as bugs and prioritise them accordingly.
