Disclaimer
CalcAussie is a free set of calculators for people in Australia. Everything here is general information only.
General information only
The calculators, figures, explanations and examples on this site are general in nature. They do not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs, and they are not financial product advice, tax advice, credit assistance or legal advice. Nothing here is a recommendation to take out a loan, buy or sell an investment, or structure your affairs in a particular way.
Estimates, not decisions
Every result is an estimate produced from the numbers you enter and the assumptions listed on each page. Real outcomes differ because of rounding, fees, timing, eligibility rules, and rules that change during the year. Before you act on a number from this site, confirm it with the relevant official source or a licensed professional.
Where our rates come from
Where a calculator uses a published Australian rate or threshold, the source and the financial year it applies to are shown on the page. Where a figure varies by state, provider or your circumstances, we ask you to enter it rather than guess on your behalf. Our methodology page explains this in more detail.
No liability
To the extent permitted by law, CalcAussie is not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not excluded.
Getting real advice
For tax, speak to a registered tax agent or check ato.gov.au. For credit and investing, speak to a licensed adviser or broker; ASIC's Moneysmart is a good free starting point. For legal questions, speak to a lawyer in your state or territory.
