Include payment, advertising and fulfilment costs
Some marketplaces charge separate payment-processing, promoted-listing, subscription, currency-conversion, refund or fulfilment fees. Add those costs when comparing platforms or deciding the minimum profitable sale price.
Net proceeds are not the same as profit. Product cost, packaging, shipping, returns, GST and income tax may still apply, so use the result as one part of a complete margin calculation.
