How this calculator works

Add up to five assessment components with their scores and weightings to calculate your overall weighted mark for a subject. Useful for checking your running total before final exams.

Frequently asked questions

Do the weightings need to add to 100%?

Ideally yes, but the calculator will still compute a result using the weightings you enter and shows a note if they don't total 100%.

Can I use this for university and school subjects?

Yes, it works for any assessment structure as long as you know each component's percentage weighting and your score.

What if I haven't sat an assessment yet?

Leave its score at 0 to see your current position, or use the Final Grade Needed calculator to work out what you need on remaining assessments.
